Being a Christian, we are allowed to date and go out with people we see as potential husbands. So I know there are set of rules that we are taught, the do’s holding hands, and don’ts (sex) of Christian dating. But a friend of mine recently told me that, he doesn’t kiss at all. I don’t blame him, that’s his decision. After all God teaches that if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off, Matthew 5:30.
Can kissing ever be an immoral act? I don’t know.
But I do know that everything that makes me feel uncomfortable is probably wrong. If my partner who is not my husband holds me and kisses me in a way that makes me feel guilty or uncomfortable, then it’s probably wrong.
To be precise, I wouldn’t want a man to touch my breast and v-j then that would be uncomfortable to me and I wouldn’t want that.
That is because I am woman and I have feelings and I don’t want to pretend to be strong and end up with my clothes on the side of the bed. I don’t want to think and desire what comes after kissing.
So any feeling that makes me feel like I have violated my body and God’s standards then that is probably immoral to me.
So do you set limits on how your partner should hold or kiss you? Do you like a friend of mine quit and say – No more kissing?
